Today, I went to Church in the morning; in the afternoon, my son & I played my new game, the Doctor Who Electronic Interactive Board Game - it's terrific! In the late afternoon, we all went to a Birthday Tea at our Russian/Ukrainian neighbours' place.....good Russian cooking! I went to church this evening rather late, but not too late :)

Sat 25th Feb, 2K6

This morning, we went to our Church Garage Sale; I bought an End Table for my Rumpus Room sofa; the kids got various toys & books, & Puss-puss (my wife) got a gardening spray unit. Picked up my season 1 Six Feet Under DVD from Bridget, at SHINE (the beauty salon where I get my feet done). Had a lovely Snooze this arvo; then took J. to his mates place for a Sleepover....we'll get some peace & quiet tonight, all going well!

Last couple of days haven't been too exciting, hence the lack of updates... I've had headaches off & on for the last 58 hours, which has not been a bonus! Met a friendly Danish woman on Tuesday morning; could be a potential friendship there.... I've started watching my Inspector Morse DVD collection right from the beginning again; it makes a change from Desperaye Housewives :)

Tues 21st Feb 2006

Tuesday was a happy day!....it began with a swim, in my new Fitness Regime; then a few brief hours later, after hanging out the washing, my wife, our twins & I went to a Playgroup with friends, followed by a trip to an indoor soft play area. After a very quick lunch, I went for my 5-weekly Massage, with Mandy & her super-smooth hands!! A short time passed before all of us headed out to our oldest's School Swimming Party. After Tea, I went to the Cinema, and saw Joyeaux Noel. What a lovely day!!!

Today was rather cruisy, with a spot of shopping, followed by DVDs, and more DVD.....keeping out of The Heat.....I've added a pic to my Profile now, so you can put a face to my "voice" (wink!).

Today, with the continuation of the Heat Wave, we took our three kids to the Beach; probably the first time the Twins had paddled in the sea!
It was a lovely day for it, and we all enjoyed ourselves :)

This evening, I went to the cinema and saw North Country, a movie about a woman who complained of sexual harassment in a Minnesota coal mine; it is based on a true story, a case that created legal history in the US. Very good performances from Charlize Theron, Richard Jenkins & Woody Harrelson, who put up much of the capital to fund this film. I look forward to seeing Charlize Theron in another movie in a few weeks from now. Watch this space!

Tues Feb 14th Valentine's Day 2K6

Well, this evening Margaret & I are having a nice Special Evening,
as it's Valentine's Day; we hardly ever get any time to ourselves, so this will be good :) The kids are going to bed early, and M & I will watch a DVD & get lovey-dovey!

This morning, I went in to town to change a movie ticket, to Thurday night....I also checked in to the local Whitcoulls (like WH Smiths). After some persistence, it was discovered that my new DVD had arrived D)... so now I've got the first 4 seasons of Six Feet Under! I think it would've fascinated my Dad....he was a Funeral Director.....

Well, yesterday was a long one, with Wifey @ work & my kids behaving like wild animals...thank goodness the oldest (& the main stirrer) is at school today, and the Twins are happily watching a Dr.Who dvd! I had some probs with my blog account last night so I couldn't post, but that's sorted now. :) ...I also got a new r.Who CD in this morning's mail, so I'm pleased!!!

Satrurday, 11th Feb, 2K6

I love to cook, and I invited a family to come for Lunch, to enjoy my yummy Nachos....they accepted, but cancelled! Not to be so easily thwarted, I invited our wonderful Russian neighbours (well, he's Russian she's from the Ukraine) - to lunch, with their little children. It was their first time eating Nachos, which I prepared with mince (with a little onion), baked beans, and refried beans. It was a successful lunch, and our guests will invite us all to their house for a Russian meal soon. :)

Well, one of yesterday's highlights was ringing The Stamp Centre, in London... the bloke chirped, "The Stamp Centre, Good Morning," - I resisted the urge to say "Good Evening" (we're 13 hours ahead of the UK down here!). I made polite enquiries as to just WHAT has happened to my Radio Controlled Gold Dalek! (Breathe normally....I'm fine). I reminded him it had been posted on the 13th Dec; he phoned back 10mins later, reporting that it didn't actually leave the UK for another MONTH....arrrgh! Oh well....(big sigh) as least I know it's on its way! Meanwhile, my OTHER R/C Dalek ("Dippy"....as in Dip.E. Geddit? Stands for "Diploma of Extermination") - is getting lonely....I'll console him, as best I can.....;) - oh! Did I mention I'm slightly obsessed with Dr.Who?

Wednesday Feb.8th 2006

Today I started watching my new DVD of Desperate Housewives, and
got to see my good friend, TV. We watched the Dr.Who Christmas Special, and a couple of other things..."Grumpy Old Men," and Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em. It rained for the first time in quite a while.
Tomorrow, I look forward to see what kind of cake my new friend,
T, has baked for me :)

Tuesday 7th Feb - MY BIRTHDAY!

Well, TODAY is my Birthday! I had a pretty good day, which began with lots of presents! Then I took my oldest to school, after which I went to the Salon for a Massage and Pedicure! Wonderful! We later had tea out at a local restaurant, the Red Rocket. A really good day, overall! :)

Friday, 3rd Feb. 2K6

Well, this morning was busy, as I took our cat, Panther, to the Vet.... he has a skin condition, poor old puss! Then, after dropping him back home, I took my three kids to "Chipmunks," an indoor adventure playground.
It was busy there, trying to keep my two-year-old daughter from drinking my coffee, and comforting her twin brother when he had a crisis (I think someone stepped on his toes). *** I'm away this weekend, and then it's my birthday when we get back on Tuesday, so more then! :)

Thursday, 2nd Feb, 2K6

Today was pretty good! I visited my friend, "TV,"
it was nice to see him; we watched a DVD and talked.
I then went out to a movie, Cheaper By The Dozen 2.For me,
the of the film was Eugene Levy, whom I've enjoyed seeing
in the American Pie series of movies (& also in Serendipity, and
Waiting For Guffman). In a change of pace for Eugene, he played
a rich control freak; with two big names playing his wife and
daughter - Carmen Electra & Hilary Duff! Came home to watch
the 2nd-to-last episode of Six Feet Under.

Same Day...11:25pm

Well, the highlights for today, were...spending time with my oldest;
and frying about 26 poppadoms!...some of those are for taking to a friend's house tomorrow morning.

Wednesday 1st Feb

Well, at last January is Over...in my last Blog, I announced that I DON'T like January - I can relax now! :) Today the Twins are at daycare, so it'll be my 6-year-old & I - reckon I can entertain him for a while! He goes back to school next week, as it'll be the end of the Summer Holidays.Also, back-to-school day is...my Birthday! I'm looking forward to that!
