Cheese
Probably the most exciting thing that happened yesterday, was that I ate some cheese for the first time...it's called Emmentale; I heard about it on the mini-series Blott on the Landscape, many years ago, and I've wanted to try it ever since. When Blott was posing with his wife for their wedding photo, the snapper said, "Say cheese!" And Blott said, "Emmentale!" :)

OK, I've decided that buying other cheeses to compare the Emmentale with would be too xpensive...so I'll just say this: it's drier than Chedder...can sometimes have holes in, like Swiss..and comes across as a chirpy, cheerful cheese. But I prefer Brie. :)
